Life Can Ask a Lot of You. Therapy Can Make Room for You.
Virtual individual therapy for clients 16+ across Ontario.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, burnout, identity, reproductive experiences, or a season of life that simply feels heavier than usual, therapy can offer a place to slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself.
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and work through the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be weighing on you.
I provide virtual psychotherapy for clients 16 and older across Ontario, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, self-worth, relationships, life transitions, and reproductive mental health.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. We can explore what’s happening beneath the surface, build practical tools for navigating difficult moments, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in your everyday life.

Questions You May Have About Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is one-on-one psychotherapy focused on your experiences, emotions, relationships, concerns, and goals.
Sessions offer a private space to slow down, understand what may be happening beneath the surface, recognize patterns, develop new ways of coping, and explore changes you want to make in your life.
No. You don't need a mental health diagnosis or even a clear explanation for what you're experiencing.
You might come to therapy because you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in a pattern, navigating a difficult relationship, going through a transition, or simply noticing that something doesn't feel right.
“I’m not sure what I need, but I know I want things to feel different” is enough of a place to begin.
You can bring whatever feels important to you.
This might include anxiety, depression, overthinking, stress, burnout, self-worth, identity, relationships, family dynamics, boundaries, grief, reproductive experiences, or major life changes.
You don't have to decide what is important enough for therapy before you arrive.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin understanding what brings you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you hope might change.
We'll talk about your concerns, relevant experiences and history, and what you would like support with. You can also ask questions and share what would help therapy feel comfortable and useful for you.
There is no expectation that you tell your whole story in the first session.
Therapy is tailored to the person rather than following one approach for everyone.
Depending on what you're experiencing and what feels useful, our work may draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and somatic approaches.
These approaches may help us explore emotions, thoughts, behaviours, relationships, body-based experiences, coping strategies, and the stories you've developed about yourself and your experiences.
There isn't one schedule that works for everyone.
Some clients attend weekly or biweekly, particularly when beginning therapy or working through something that needs more consistent support. Others may attend less frequently depending on their needs, goals, availability, and where they are in the therapeutic process.
We can discuss a frequency that makes sense for you.
There is no predetermined length of time you have to stay in therapy, but we recommend starting with four pre-booked sessions to give yourself a routine.
Some people come with a specific concern they want to work through, while others use therapy for longer-term exploration and support. We can regularly check in about how therapy is feeling, what's changing, and whether the work continues to meet your needs.
That's completely okay.
You don't need to arrive with an agenda or a perfectly formed explanation of what you're feeling. Sometimes we begin with what happened during your week. Other times we might notice an emotion, a relationship pattern, something happening in your body, or even the fact that you don't know what to talk about.
We can figure out where to begin together.
No. While Pink Light Psychotherapy has a focus on reproductive mental health, individual therapy can also support concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, self-worth, stress, burnout, grief, and life transitions.
Reproductive experiences can be part of our work when they are relevant to you, but they don't have to be the reason you come to therapy.
Yes. Individual therapy sessions are offered virtually to clients across Ontario.
You can attend from a private location where you feel comfortable speaking openly.
Finding the right therapist matters. The free 20-minute consultation gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what you're looking for, answer your questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
You don't have to commit to therapy simply because you booked a consultation.
